Just remember to qualify for the Top 3 and Gift Certificate drawing, you must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. This challenge will end on JANUARY 12th, 12:00pm MST.

Today I used this adorable stamp set called BEAR HUGS from Mama Elephant. It's one of my fave stamps! It also has a coordinating die set so you don't have to cut the image out with scissors....win! I stamped the bears on kraft cardstock and colored them with Copics.

Just remember to qualify for the Top 3 and Gift Certificate drawing, you must use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store. This challenge will end on DECEMBER 29th, 12:00pm MST.

Today I used this adorable stamp set called Lawn Fawn Toboggan Together to create my scene. Aren't they so stinkin' CUTE?!! I also kept my coloring simple and just used some sharpies and did 1 layer coloring. They are stamped on Neenah Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
The gorgeous paper is from Penny Black Holiday Trimmings 6x6 Paper Pad. I rubbed blue ink all over the paper to take out the white background. Then I die cut it with Lawn Fawn Snowy Backdrop Die cut for the stars and dots. I used the Lawn Fawn Puffy Clouds Border Die Cut to make the snow. To top it all off I added the Lawn Fawn Merry Christmas Border Die.

7 Kids College Fund~Lawn Fawn Ready, Set, Snow!

Today I'm sharing my newest card for 7 Kids College Fund, but before I get to that, I just wanted to remind you that there is one more day to enter our current "ANYTHING GOES" challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog! Please be sure to use a stamp carried in the 7 Kids College Fund Store before linking your project. :)

I've been wanting to use this adorable set from Lawn Fawn called Ready, Set Snow. This set also has coordinating die cuts available for purchase so you don't have to cut anything out with scissors. Our weather in Texas is finicky....one week it's freezing cold and the next week it's warm and in the 70s. It can't decide if it wants to be winter or summer, haha! The one thing my boy loves and misses is the snow. Maybe one day we'll move some place where there are actually four seasons. These cuties are stamped on Neenah Cardstock and colored with Copics.
Copics:
Blue: B21, B23, B32
Orange, YR02, YR04, YR07
Pink: R81, R83, R85, R37
Liquid Applique

I used decorative paper from the new C.C. Designs Snowy Day 6x6 Paper Pad. I cut the inside of the snowglobe out using a cutting knife so I could raise it on pop-dots. My original plan was to make a shaker out of it, but I forget all about the plastic when I adhered the pop-up foam dots. So I'll make another one again that will actually be a shaker card. :)

Marvy Uchida White Liquid Applique
Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Scor-Tape

Have an awesome week my friends!

The Greeting Farm~Preview of OWL YOURS!

preview
Today, you are in for a real treat because we are previewing a brand-spanking NEW stamp set called OWL YOURS on The Greeting Farm Blog! The Owl Yours Stamps will also have a coordinating DIE Set available for purchase to cut out all the shapes. This adorable set will be available for purchase in The Greeting Farm Store on Tuesday, December 15th. To top it all off there is a chance to win this set.....all the details will be on the TGF Blog on the 15th!!

I stamped the owls on Neenah Cardstock and colored them with Copics. Like I said before, this stamp will have a coordinating die set so you don't have to cut out anything with scissors. :)

Copics:
Brown: E43, E44, E47
Orange, YR02, YR04, YR09
Red Bow: R24, R27, R29, R59
Pink Bow: R81, R83, R85, R59, Stardust Stickles

The red heart and the sentiment are also part of the OWL YOURS set. Since it's a clear sentiment, I just curved it on the acrylic block so it would bend around the top of the white doily on the paper. I used some cute paper from Pink Paislee Secret Crush 6x6 Paper Pad. The branch with the birdhouses is a die from Die-namites called Fancy Birdhouses.....love it!

I’m telling you this set is so much fun and really versatile for so many different occasions! Remember, we’ll be giving away 1 set to a lucky customer so be sure to check back here on December 15th to see how you can win! Have a great weekend!

Hugs,
Rosie

Make it Colourful DECEMBER Challenge~AURORA BOREALIS

Happy Thursday everyone! Today starts a new challenge on the Make it Colourful Challenge Blog, and for the month of DECEMBER our challenge is: Aurora Borealis....also known as the Northern Lights! The Northern Lights are actually the result of collisions between gaseous particles in the Earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere. Variations in color are due to the type of gas particles that are colliding.

You can find all sorts of inspiration on-line including some coloring tutorials on YouTube! I used the Little Village Scene and printed it on Spectrum Aqua Watercolor Paper and painted the sky with Spectrum Aqua Markers. I rubbed the markers across some plastic and used paintbrushes to paint the background. Then I added washi tape along the bottom edge of the green and used a thick, dry paintbrush to whisk white acrylic paint upward. I took a dry, thin, flat edge brush to pull lines up. Then I pulled up the washi tape. Next I splattered the white acrylic paint over the background to make stars.

 Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers:
Bud Green, Teal, Purple, Wildflower, Marine, Navy & Black

I used Copics for the Village Scene:
N0, N2, C3, C5, C7, Y11, E43, E44, E47
White Liquid Applique

Before entering please read…
