Inspiration Monday-TAG it!

Good morning y'all! Well, I survived last week, LOL! My hubby was out of town at a conference in Houston and didn't come home until Sunday evening. It was a special conference paid for by his job....only 1,000 people were invited out of hundreds of thousands employees all over the world...pretty special! I'm soooooo PROUD of him and all the hard work he does!

So with him being gone, that meant not only did I have to work during the day, but I had to play with Isaiah all evening too. Man was I exhausted....that boy is the energizer bunny, for real!! Monday's are my days off from work, so I'm hoping to get a nice little nap in sometime today, hee, hee!

Today's La-La Land Inspiration Monday challenge is:

TAG it!

We want you to make a tag or incorporate a tag on your card/project.

I used this super-uber cute Darling Marci for my tag. She's one of my faves! I just LOVE her dress and how she's sitting...too adorable!

Copics & Chalk:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, Chalk
Hair: E49, E37, E33, E25, E13, E11
Lips: R22
Dress: Paper-Pieced, shaded with black chalk
Bow, Trim, Shoes: Black, C7, C5

All of the dps on my tag, including the paper for Marci's dress, came from My Mind's Eye Rosy 6x6 pad.....one of my FAVE paper companies and paper packs! The tag is from Tim Hotz. I distressed the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The red rose is from Recollections and the peachy pink roses came from a friend!

I hope you get a chance to play along with us! You can upload your creations to the LLLC Customer Gallery all month long for a chance at winning a gift certificate to the LLLC Store. Don't forget to check back on the LLLC Blog on Friday for more inspiration from my fellow DT sisters...they are amazing!

Have a great week my friends!
Hugs,
Rosie

CropStop Challenge #59-Use at least 3 Flowers

How are y'all doing my friends? How's the week been going? Things on my end are going pretty good! The weather here in Oklahoma was rather chilly at the beginning of the week, but yesterday we had a glorious day in the 70s.....in February....this is so unheard of, but I'll take it!! I don't usually like it when it's really hot, but I do love it when the weather is in the 60s and 70s!! :)

This week's CropStop Challenge for you is:

Use at least 3 FLOWERS

If you know me that's not hard to do!! :) I LOVE adding flowers to my cards!! Since I have a little boy, most of my scrapbook pages don't get the frilly treatment like flowers and lace, but when I'm making cards I tend to go "girlie." :)

There are times when I'm running low on flowers and get kinda stingy with them, haha. I have tons of punches to actually make my own flowers, but who has the time, right?!? So I tend to buy them. A couple of weeks ago Michaels had a 50% off sale on their Recollection flowers so I was able to build back up again. I still need to place an online order for some fancier ones, but in the meantime I'll use what I have. :)

For this week's challenge I decided to use another Stampavie Tina Wenke stamp called "A Fairy Resting on a Mushroom." Did I tell you I got to meet Heidi from Stampavie in person at CHA? She's so NICE and her booth was adorable!! My friend, Jing (who is AWESOME) introduced me to lots of great people!

I also met a couple of the wonderful ladies from the CropStop DT, Katie and Calypso....HIYA GIRLS!!

Okay, back to my card......did I tell ya, I {heart} this little fairy? She's so adorable!! I colored the entire scene with Copics (chalk for her cheeks) and added Stardust Stickles to her wings. There were lots of colors on this one so I'm not going to list them all. Sometimes I just want to color without having to keep a long list of everything, KWIM?! If you have a question on the colors though, just ask me. :)

My gorgeous dps came from My Mind's Eye ROSY 6x6 pad.....I'm in love with MME paper too! The flowers & leaves are a combo of Recollections and Wild Orchid Crafts. The string of pearls are also from Recollections. The ribbon is from American Crafts and the BLISS ticket stub is Tim Holtz.

I hope you come over to the CropStop Blog and play along with us this week! We do a drawing each week for a gift certificate to the CropStop Store. And if you use my discount code on my sidebar, you'll get an additional 10% off your order!!

Have a great week and see ya back here soon!
Hugs,
Rosie :)

Inspiration Monday-RAINBOWS

Happy Monday y'all! Hope you had a great weekend! Mine was pretty good! Our neighbors watched Isaiah for a couple of hours on Saturday so the hubby and I could go out for dinner at a new steak restaurant that opened up recently called Hollies. It was really good, but I think the best part was just being able to focus on each other for a few hours and actually talk without any interruption!! When you have a 5-year old boy those opportunities are hard to come by, LOL!

Today's La-La Land Crafts Inspiration is:

RAINBOWS

For my image I decided to use the new CHA release Marci with Tulip. I love her curly hair!! She reminds me so much of my niece Sierra!

Copics & Chalk:
Skin: E11, E13, chalk
Hair: E37, E33, E25, E13
Tulip: R29, R27, R24, YG17, YG25
Pot: Prismacolor Sienna Brown, E18
Dirt: E49, E29, E25, E13
Dress: B01, B02, chalk
Rainbows on Dress: R27, YR04, Y15, G14, B05, V17, RV55, YG25
Shoes: YG25, chalk

I took the Rainbow Challenge to the extreme, haha! I've got rainbow paper, rainbows drawn on Marci's dress, & a rainbow quote! I used my new Spellbinder Picot Edge Circles Nesties to cut the green polka dot paper (Echo Park) behind my sentiment.....so beautiful, I love this Nestie! I rubbed rainbow chalk colors on the sentiment paper and hand-wrote the lyrics from "Somewhere Over The Rainbow."

The background rainbow striped dp was a freebie from MelStampz located HERE. Mel is offering up all sorts of FREE paper downloads which is definitely going to help my pocket book. Well, not really because I still like to buy paper....sooooo pretty....my lovelies....okay, I admit it, I'm a crafting hoarder, LOL!

The polka dot dp is from Echo Park. The red velvet ribbon is from Michaels. The pearls are from Recollections. The butterfly is a sticker that came from my stash.

I hope you get a chance to play along with us and upload your creations to the Customer Gallery. Each month, we do a drawing and you could win a gift certificate to the LLLC Store!

Happy Crafting my friends!

Hugs,
Rosie :)
